How to reset SMS Gateway queue in case of need

  
If by any reason the SMS Gateway normal operation is interrupted and a batch processing is ongoing, the remaining messages will be kept in the queue. When the faulty situation is overcome, restarting the SMS Gateway will resume the delivery process. Whenever this behavior is not suitable and one need to end the process preventing any message to be delivered, the solution is to purge the queue.

To purge the SMS Gateway queue one need to take the following steps:

1) Stop SMS Gateway

2) Remove the SMS cache files located in:
  • /var/log/smsgateway/smsgateway.store
  • /var/log/smsgateway/smsgateway.store.bak

3) Start SMS Gateway
