How can I add a second menu from the right side?

How can I add a second menu from the right side?

I have what seems like a simple request but I’m not sure what code to manipulate to accomplish. I want to have two sliding menus. One from the left (the default menu) and one that slides from the right.

I cloned the menu component but I’m not sure what code I need to change to make the second one open AND slide from the right instead of the left.

Any tips?

Hi Levi

I am assuming this is on a mobile app right? In that case you can use SilkUI's Sidebar widget to accomplish this.

You can check out the component at: https://silkui.outsystems.com/Patterns_Mobile.aspx#Mobile_Interaction_SideBar

Hope this helps!

So perhaps this is another dumb question but when I open my Silk UI patterns, "sidebar" isn't listed as an option. I don't see it available under dependencies either... Do I have to download an additional application to make this work?

Solution

If you don't see the sidebar in the widget tree (left had side) or at "mobile patterns" in the right hand Interface tab

You can find it in the references Mobile Patterns

If you're still not seeing it, you might have to download or update your silkUI version. You can download it over here.

Hope this helps!
