Every app that includes this plugin started to fail the APK generation, seems that start to happen a few days ago.

It's always the error compiling Cordova plugin.

Actually the commit #RNMT-1696 fix that issue and the APK now is successfully generated.

Any prediction when it will be included in the master branch?

Sounds like the issue we have with Android, problems started a week ago. We can't get the app compiled anymore, log says something to do with cordova plugin compilation.

If there is a solution we would very like to hear/have it :)

We're using the latest 3.0.0 version, and are also having errors on compiling the Android App:

/tmp/build/source/platforms/android/src/de/appplant/cordova/plugin/notification/Notification.java:28: error: cannot find symbol
import android.app.NotificationChannel;
  symbol:   class NotificationChannel
  location: package android.app
/opt/NativeBuilder/builds/abdfa674-9861-4f17-9635-31d5dcb77f25/source/platforms/android/src/de/appplant/cordova/plugin/notification/Notification.java:99: error: cannot find symbol
        if (android.os.Build.VERSION.SDK_INT >= Build.VERSION_CODES.O) {
  symbol:   variable O
  location: class VERSION_CODES

The suspect is the following addition to the plugin.xml of the cordova plugin definition:

<framework src="com.android.support:support-v4:+" value="gradle" />

Can you please look into this?

Thank you.

Any updates on this one? Same problem as Carlos described here.

Same problem.
