Carousel actions

Carousel actions

Hi community.

I'm trying to use the carousel in a web app but want to use some link / button to change the item on there.

I've read the documentation in https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/SILK_UI_Framework/03_Building_UI_Through_Pattern_Composition/Using_Silk_UI_Patterns/Carousel_Pattern but can't find where these actions are.

They appear to be mobile actions. Are they mobile only?

Thanks for the help,

Miguel Prego.

This documentation is being used for the mobile carousel and not web

Hi Miguel,

Thanks Kilian.

I wanted to use the actions that are on the mobile version but I'm not finding the correspondent to the web carousel.

I think it doesn't exist, sadly...

The ones that exist in the mobile version.

Specially the one called "CarouselGoTo Action".

I want to make navigation from a button / link that isn't part of the carousel itself.

Thanks Eduardo :)

I tried but could not make the carousel active item change...

I want to make the navigation by clicking on one of the indicators.

Solution

Hi Miguel,

If you have only one carousel in your screen then you can use this in a RunJavaScript (from HTTPRequestHandler):

"carousel.goTo("+Number+")"

Where Number is the Number of the item (starts in zero).

Cheers,

José
