delete rule

Referential Integrity is delete rule

first protect,second delete,third ignore.

I have a entity named parent, and another entity named child.

The child entity has a foreign key point at the parent entity.

The delete rule is protect,it means that when i try to delete partents entity, the child entity that contain the foreign key cant be deleted.

The delete rule is delete,it means that when i try to delete partents entity, the child entity that contain the foreign key can be deleted.

The delete rule is ignor,it means that when i try to delete partents entity, the child entity that contain the foreign key will not be deleted, but with the invalid reference.

Pls, let me know If I'm wrong.

Hi yanyi, it means that the the child entity WILL be deleted (not can). The rest is completely correct.
