Table Records Select Row

Table Records Select Row

Hey,

Is it possible to select a entire row inside a table record? I mean i would like to select the row with the tables values and for example use a mouseover extended property so when we select a row of the table (except header) it changes he's background color.

In html we can do it inside the <tr> tag.
Hi,

I think that is not possible at outsystems, is possible to select rows using a check box in ones of columns and then execute the operation on the selected rows, for example to delete rows or update a group of rows.

hi,

yes i know but thats not what im looking for :(
Hi Luis,

If you have a style around your table (e.g. TableRecords_Wrapper) you can accomplish what you wish adding this to your CSS:

.TableRecords_Wrapper>tbody>tr:hover {
background-color: #F0F0F0;
}

Hi Tiago,

First i would like to thx for the fast reply. Thats was the idea that i was looking for...

I tried it on a table record like the image attached shows and with this on CSS:

.TableRecords_Header {
font-family: Verdana;
font-size: 8pt;
color: White;
font-weight: bold;
background-color: #F00000;
white-space: normal;
}

.TableRecords_OddLine {
font-family: Verdana;
font-size: 11px;
color: #808080;
font-weight: normal/bold;
text-decoration: none;
white-space: normal;
}
.TableRecords_EvenLine{
font-family: Verdana;
font-size: 11px;
color: #808080;
background-color: #DCDCDC;
font-weight: normal/bold;
text-decoration: none;
white-space: normal;
}

.TableRecords_OddLine>tbody>tr:hover {
background-color: #add8e6; }
.TableRecords_EvenLine>tbody>tr:hover {
background-color: #add8e6;
}

but it doesnt seems to work... any ideia why it isnt working?
do i have to use it on the header only because of the tbody?
Hi,

You actually need a Container widget wrapping the TableRecords with that TableRecords_Wrapper style.
Be aware that this CSS is not supported by IE6 and lower.

if i use a container for that it will make a mouseover on all the table including the header right?
doesnt seems to work... can you make a oml sample on SS version 4.0.1. pls?
Hi Luis,

TableRecords_OddLine and TableRecordsEvenLine are applied to the table cells (td in html).
This is why your style rule doesn't match.

Try using the suggestion Tiago gave you. You need to have a Container wrapping your Table Record. Give it a style let's call it TableRecords_Wrapper. Then create the following style

.TableRecords_Wrapper tbody > tr {
background-color: #dcdcdc;
}

I hope this helps you. Cheers,
André
Hey André,

I tried that already but didnt worked...

I notice the code u gave me is a bit dif. then the code that tiago gave me. there is a > missing after the Wrapper?

.TableRecords_Wrapper> tbody > tr {
background-color: #dcdcdc;
}

The mouseover funcionality didnt worked all the rest was ok. Im also using ie 7.0
