Hello.

I am trying to use this plugin to create a simple app as a proof of concept for my work and for that I need to read a couple of values that I am sending through an ESP32. While debugging I found out that if I send integer numbers of the type "uint8_t" I can read them just fine in the app, however I need to send float values and I can't read them at all. I've tried sending them as 16 bit integers, std::string and now im sending a char array of 10 positions and none work. I thought I needed to pass it along as a string because the read function this plugin provides says it's a "text" value (which is honestly rather vague).

What I'm trying to understand is if it is possible to read a float value or any type of value other than an 8 bit integer with the read function this plugin provides.

If needed I can provide my project environment.

Thank you!

Hello Pedro,

You can have a little bit more information in the plugin documentation here: https://github.com/don/cordova-plugin-ble-central#read.

Try the ArrayBuffer as mentioned.

Hope it helps.
