Hello can you help me? i've tried adding text to the label, but it doesn't show.

Solution

Hi Alfred

<Batman joke goes here>

The component does that for you, as long as there are more than two people in the same conversation.

Your messages appear on the right side, and since you know who you are (hopefully), your name doesn't appear, but the other conversation members are identified.

Check the example below:

You can use the sample application to test this scenario.

While in a "Private" conversation the names don't appear, since you're talking with just one person (and can identify that person in the screen title - for example)

I hope this answers your question.

Solution

Hi,

How to add the chat member in IN-APP chat web, Can you help me

Thanks,

Hello JEYASRI R.

The sample provided with the component shows you how to use the API.

With the API you can build 1-1 'channels' or group channels.

To add a user to a "group channel", all you need to do is to give the user access to the channel.

Using the sample with different users is an example of this usage.

With role restrictions and your permission logic, you can show/hide "channel details/access" to any given user.

Hope this helps.
Let me know if the sample is not enough.

Best regards.
