NFC Plugin on Mobile App

Hello,

I'm using NFC.Plugin 1.0.0 for trying read NFC data.

I'm using a sample from following attach file (NFC_Sample.oml). This plugin use reference to "Common.Plugin".

"Common.Plugin" version using is - 2.3.0 with OutSystems 10.0.907.0

I tried the app on an Android device with NFC rather than through "OutSystems Now".

I'm getting this Error:

Anyone can help on this?

Hey Mizrachi,

It seems you have recently updated your service studio to outsystems 11.

Just do these steps ( i had the same issue with another plugin)

  •  Remove Common Plugin from your Service Studio
  •  Then install again from the Forge
  •  Add the dependency to your Consumer modules
  •  Publish the consumer module

or else

try this

  • open common plugin, refresh the dependency and publish again (I'm not sure this will work), just give a try :)

Thanks,

Keerthi

Hello Keerthi,

I've not updated my Service Studio to 11 -

Which Common Plugin version to install? (I've installed the 2.3.0)

Trying now refresh the dependency and republish.

Thanks!!

Do you have any yellow warning or a red error at the left of the module?

No warning in Common Plugin..

what about your application module? I mean do you have any warning in your NFC_Sample module.

But from the screen that you have posted earlier, it seems there is an issue with that common plugin only.

Just do me a favour, try removing and installing it again (Common Plugin)

I built a new application and I took the example from NFC_sample module.

After refresh and republished all modules, I'm not getting the error anymore!!

Now trying to read NFC data.. But the application does not seem to be requesting permission to access NFC.

Trying to figure it out.

I'll update here.

Thanks!!
