Overriding FontFace in FactoryUI

Overriding FontFace in FactoryUI

Hi,

I am having an issue with the '@font-face' class in the FactoryCommonUI stylesheet.

The source for this class is -

SyntaxEditor Code Snippet

 src: local('Open Sans Light'), local('OpenSans-Light'), url(https://themes.googleusercontent.com/static/fonts/opensans/v6/DXI1ORHCpsQm3Vp6mXoaTRsxEYwM7FgeyaSgU71cLG0.woff) format('woff');

This is not working in China and I am trying to figure out a way to bypass this being used or to override it, is this possible?

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Benjamin,

I assume it's not working because the URL is blocked? Couldn't you override it in your own CSS (using a derived theme)?

Hi Kilian,

Yes the source is blocked in China causing very long loading times.

Ive created my own classes in the pages stylesheet but it hasnt bypassed the Font Face being or attempted to be used.

Hi Benjamin,

I see. I don't think you can directly solve that, except for cloning the original module and changing the CSS.
