Why should we use BPT?

What are the advantages?

You don't have to create task management systems by yourself

and your Logic looks more like a Sequence Diagram between People compared to a  Action / Logic flow

For Example : If you have a App to be built Where People have to be updated that some tasks are pending for their Action.

When that person Logins we have a task box Automatically created for them that they have to act upon.

And your App looks like more of a Process between Different set of people than compared to a basic web blog or a Travel Vlog then BPT makes your Life easier.

Take a look at first few videos in the below course and you will get a clue.

Thanks.....

Tasks have an End date that you can set. I am not really sure what will happen if I exceed that. I guess there will be call backs  so we can trigger mails to the person with tasks. Need to check what will happen if it expires.

You can assign a task to group and If one of them updates from the group then the other person from the group will not see the task. This is also why you use GetXXXXforUpdate Action. It puts a lock for one person to update it.

Once the Due date is exceeded Tasks Automatically goes into closed state (I did a test on it)

You can write logic in the Activity to see if the status has changed.

If the status has not changed and the task is closed you can write a logic to Escalate or to open a new task to Another user.

I can see somebody had added the Idea as well, But looks like the Automatic Version is still not Implemented
