Firebase Mobile Sample native app problem

Hi,

When I tried to build an Android app from it,  I got "The following errors have occurred:• In Android on 2019-01-19 at 22:32:54 - Error installing Cordova plugin: cordova-plugin-firebase': Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, scandir '/opt/NativeBuilder/builds/23f844c1-fa84-4df9-ab98-a4bac832299d/source/platforms/android/assets/www/google-services."

I have no problem when publishing the app.and Firebase Mobile plug-in.

So what am I missing here?

Hello William!

I think that you are missing the configuration.

You follow this guide?

Hope that this helps!

I'm having the same error only for iOS. Android works fine.

Error: Error installing Cordova plugin: cordova-plugin-firebase': Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, scandir '/Users/mabs01/NativeBuilder/builds/7379158e-25c0-464c-b12a-524260202bd5/source/platforms/ios/www/google-services.

I've followed the same procedure of the given link above. I'm trying to generate the app with MABS 6.2.

Hi William ,

This is configuration problem, you need to provide correct application Id in firebase

and you need to store both configuration file for Android and IOS.

I could resolve my issue.

The customer needed to rebuild the iOS certificate and provisioning files as the app identifier was not defined in the reverse domain format - ex. com.domain.appname.

Matching these files and definitions inside the customer's Apple site and then the Google Firebase ones, it should work.
