second: we are modifying some datatype or create new entity and after publishing from extension that changes are not reflected in DB Server.we are unable to under stand why we are facing this?in service center we already grant the permission.

i am doing the below steps.anything i am missing?

service center permission

we are using below sql version

extension details

after publishing that changes are not reflected in our DB Server

Hi,

You can't change the external database on the extension. You need to do the changes directly on the database and than update the extension.if you want to create new tables you should do it in an Outsystems module.

Hi,

The way you are using Azure SQL as a external database is impossible to change the tables or add new tables and expected them to be created on azure. the changes only flow in the other direction. changes done on azure can be refreshed in the extension. External databases are used for already existing databases. for example legacy databases that don't change.

if you want to create new tables you should use your azure sql as the main database of outsystems. this is only possible in version 10 and above.. You need to configure it on configuration tool or contact outsystems to do it on your cloud environment.
