Assign dropdown value to Entity's Attribute

Hi,

How do i assign Dropdown value to an Entity's Attribute?

I've tried using Assign "Entity'sAttribute = LocalVar" But it isnt storing...

The input functions works in this way though

Hi Xing Yu,

Create one local variable and add this in your drop down Variable. So that when ever you select any value from drop down it will store in this local variable and then assign this local variable value to your Entity Attribute.

Thanks,

Manish Pandey

RightAns1(Local Variable) is linked as the variable for dropdown1.

After input i dont see the value popping up for GetPEAnswerById.List.Current.PEAnswers..... in the entity

Is it storing empty in GetPEAnswerById.List.Current.PEAnswers entity attribute or Can you try to debug and can check what exactly is coming in RightsAns1.

It should hold some value when you select any value from drop down.

Thanks,

Manish Pandey

Hi,

If RightsAns1 is holding value then it should assign same to GetPEAnswerById.List.Current.PEAnswers attribute.

Can you just add new assign widget and GetPEAnswerById.List.Current.PEAnswers=RightsAns1.

Also try to debug after assignment what exactly you are getting in this attribute. It might be possible this value is replacing somewhere in your action.

Thanks,

Manish Pandey
