Hi there,

I think I'm going to kick myself for this one:

I simply have a menu with submenus. However, whenever I open the app, the submenus are not collapsed (as seen below). I want them to collapsed by default until the user clicks on the menu item. How do I do this?

Thanks in advance.

Is this a side menu or a top menu? From the limited screenshot, its hard to tell. What version of the platfrom are you using? What ui framework (and version) are you using?

Hi Stacey,

Thanks for your reply. It's a side menu. I am using platform: 10.0.1006.0. I am using the Dublin theme with jQuery version 1.8.3 (if that's what you meant my ui framework?).

Hello Cole Noble,

You can achieve this using JavaScript/jquery.  Write a Code when page loads remove the "Open" Class of main menu and for submenu display:none and overflow:hidden.

Like,

 $('.Menu_DropDownButton').removeClass('open');
 $('.Menu_DropDownPanel').css('display','none');
 $('.Menu_DropDownPanel').css('overflow','hidden');

Hi Cole Noble,

You may also take some ideas from this post:

Hope it helps, regards!
