Is there a way to list sort a table records when its source record comes from REST API and not from an ENTITY?

Thanks

Hi

After getting the result of your api, put your result in a list data type and sort it using list sort.

Hi Mohammad,

I want to use the RichWidgets\List_SortColumn and my source record comes from REST API (structure). Is there a way to implement the RichWidgets\List_SortColumn?

Thanks

Hi Nhorwin,

No matter if the list is populated from API result or Entity data , you can always use RichWidgets\List_SortColumn on the list .

Are you getting any issue doing this ?

Hi PJ,

I tried to use List_SortColumn, and now Im stuck on what to do next. What will I put in these required fields. And what logic should I use on "OnNotify" action.

Hope you could enlighten me on this issue.

Thanks

Hi Nhorwin,

I will recommend you to use open source jquery plugins like data table, data grid etc which is also available in forge for external data source (REST API). By this way you can avoid  sorting, searching , filtering issue.
