Unable to see application templates

We have created new outsystems 11 environment. When I try to create new application, the templates are not appearing. Unable to create web, mobile or service application.

I am getting empty template screen hence unable to proceed in creating new application. Please refer the screenshot.

Could anyone help?

Hi Balu,

You can download the Tamplates on the forge as soon as it is installed, the examples will appear for you to create.

Regards

Eduardo

Hi Eduardo,

I mean the default templates are missing. Side Menu, Top Menu templates for Web App. Phone, Tablet and Universal templates for Mobile application. Please refer the screenshot.

I am unable to find these default templates in Forge repository. Am I missing anything here?

Test the installation of components by the forge like this in your area of development

Hi,

I'm experiencing the exact same problem as Arunkumar describes. Did you already found a solution?

Kind regards,

Hi Arun Kumar,

Myself face the same issue, it can be resolved by Go Back and return, else Close the OS 11 and Reopen it.

This may due to Connectivity Issue.

Hi Manikandan,

This didn't resolve the issue for me. tried to restart, reinstall OutSystems UI, but nothing seems to work...

I saw this once after an upgrade from 10 to 11. Go to ServiceCenter (factory - espaces) and do a republish of the current version of the template modules/espaces that you are missing. (Template_TopMenu &  Template_SideMenu) See if that helps.

Thanks for your suggestion. Just tried it but unfortunately the themes are still not showing up.

edit: the themes that i'm missing are mobile, so not the Template_TopMenu & Template_SideMenu, but Template_Phone, Template_Tablet and Template_Universal. I'm not possible to create a mobile app without them. I can see they're installed, but they're not showing up.

Hi Jobbe

Are you using outsystems service studio for mac? (developer preview). In my case, I have used mac version and was trying to create a new application where the template was not shown.

I have switched to windows laptop using outsystems service studio 11 for windows it worked for me.

I fee the mac version of service studio is still unstable, can't be used for development

Hi Arunkumar,

No, i'm using Windows. We've tried with several different users to create an mobile app but it isn't possible for anyone, even the environment administrator can't.

In the screenshots you can see the themes are installed in the environment, but not showing up when creating a mobile app.

Hi Jobbe,

This looks like the issue with outsystems platform. Have you raised a support case with outsystems?

I didn't raised a support case with OutSystems yet.

Our environment is recently upgraded from OS10 to OS11 so this could be the cause of this issue. The environment admin is going to check if the upgrade of the environment with its applications went well, otherwise i'm going to raise a support case.

I'll keep you posted.

SOLVED TO ME:

My problem: TEMPLATE PHONE disapear.
Solution: On OutSystems Service Studio 11, click on BELL (up right corner) and do a upgrade (if need).

A few days ago i fixed the problem by completely deleting OutSystemsUIMobile from ServiceCenter, and install it again (just republishing or redeploying the application didn't work).

The reason for this whole problem was unclear for me, but it worked so i started developing. When i wanted to preview the app i got errors again, and also when i wanted to generate a native package. So in the end i still think some configurations went wrong at the upgrade from v10 to v11.

Thanks for the help so far! I'm going to contact OutSystems Support to help fixing this problem.
