OutSystems Developers Conference 2019: yes? no?

Hi all at OutSystems,

will there be an OutSystems Developers Conference in 2019?

Regards,

pedro

Solution

Hello.

No, this time ODC will be a part of NextStep.

Solution

It's a pity... Because I liked a lot the model of the first ODC

Well, NextStep will be modelled around the first (and only) ODC, with lots of developer-specific content, and less of the marketing stuff (or so we've been led to believe :)). The only downside is that the European NextStep will be in Amsterdam, instead of Lisbon. Take your umbrellas and raincoats with you!

Hi Nuno, thanks for your answer.

Greetings

Pedro

Hi Kilian Hekhuis

Other than the weather, the price is also a downside, or will there be prices for developers?

NextStep America is happening today. Later this month is the European. Earlybird price ended a while back.

Please bring back the ODC as separate event or make ODC an optional pre or post NextStep event.  Developers can do without all the marketing and sales that NextStep is/has.  Total technical, lightning, & lab development sessions that one can attend it at NextStep Denver is limited to a total of 7.5 hours over the two two days.  Also the core OutSystems architecture team is not at NextStep Denver or at least not presenting as in previous NextStep events.  When attending an AWS, Google, or Microsoft annual developer conference, the core architecture teams for the given organization and products are all present at these events, performing presentations and available for the entire conference for QA and at a dedicated expert booth.
