Call for Speakers - Tech Talks at NextStep - Deadline Extended!

We just extended the deadline to submit your talk to Friday, May 10th!

With a day and a half of technical talks at NextStep this year, we have more than 30 sessions to fill.

We want YOU to be part of the action and get up to the NextStep stage.

There are two types of talks:

40-minute, long-format talk that focuses on broad topics like architecture, web, mobile, containers.

15-minute, "lightning” talks that focus on a specific tip or action, such as "how do I use the events from web blocks that were released with OutSystems 11?”.

Ready to pitch your talk?

Get started by selecting which event you're interested in, set up your account with Sessionize, and pitch away! You'll need a session title and description, plus we ask for additional notes to help us understand the talk better. Additionally, we ask for your speaker bio and photo (don't let either of these stop you from submitting!)

You have until May 3rd May 10th to apply.

Denver - Oct. 2-3

Amsterdam - Oct. 29-30

We look forward to seeing you at NextStep!

Hello! Adding a quick note here to let everyone know that we've extended the submission deadline for tech talks for both Denver and Amsterdam NextSteps, to next Friday, May 10th.

Be sure to get your pitch in!

Just wondering,

Why the extended period? Is it due to location and most OutSystems developers that have something to tell are based in Portugal? Most speakers on ODC last year where Portuguese. If someone not lives in the Netherlands, and wants to be a speaker, will their travel expenses be paid by OutSystems?

We extended the time to submit in order to get more speakers. We would like as many people that are interested in speaking to be able to. This has nothing to do with the location or some of the developers being in Portugal.  Travel expenses are not covered, but speakers do get a free ticket to the event.
