Hi InAppBrowserEvents developers,

I'm looking at this application but I also see the InAppBrowser Plugin from OutSystems R&D in the forge. What made you make a new application, is there something that this plugin can do which is not possible in the "supported version"?

Kind regards,
Martijn Habraken

Solution

Hi Martijn,

If you take a look at the component description it states:

Another InAppBrowser plugin implementing the LoadStart, LoadStop, LoadError and Exit events from the Cordova plugin.

These events from the plugin are not implemented on the supported version.

If you actually download and open the component you will notice that the supported version is an action/method while this one is a web block.

This allows the developer to receive the events from the plugin and use them also as events in their app giving them a little bit more control over what the user is doing.

Check the Cordova plugin documentation here.

Cheers
