Hi David,

What you are referring to in the image are called placeholders. They are defined in the WB, and can be deleted there (which mean they will be deleted for all instances of that WB).

If you do not place any content in the placeholder in the current instance, the style-class of the placeholder will automatically be set to "display: none;". So unless you want to adjust the WB, which has impact on all instances of that WB, it is sufficient to not put any content in the placeholder.
