Can I have a editable invoice

Hello,

Im trying to make a app where a user can enter customers, product and then can make a invoice.

Now I wonder can I have something like this : https://css-tricks.com/examples/EditableInvoice/

to make a invoice.

Hello you can have everything in outsystems

But before that you need to learn how

i advise you to check this guided lessons do the excercises.

After that i am pretty sure you can create a data model and do that form with ease and much more.

I did that course already but wonder what I have to use

The model is not the biggest problem and I think the layout is also not a problem.

Do I maybe use events to calculate the total price of a line, the taxes and the total

You have the values saved in database then you will jsut return them from data base, If it is a calculated field that use database info, then you can do this calculations in the query for example

you have 10 lines of prices and in each line you need to apply the tax value. The tax value for this eg is a fix value of 10%

where you are doing you select you will add a new field as output that the value will be "product.price * 1.1" or "product.price * 0.1".

you can do the total value using queries too if you have the price of each line in the data base you can use select sum(procuct.price) and this will return the total of all lines.

This are some things you can do using only sql. Yes you can do this on outsystems too with some loops.

oke, some experimenting to do.  as I see it, the values are put in by a user and not send to the database.
