Hello Everyone,

Anyone have already passed this feature? How to indent JSON when exporting to a file? At this point everything is comming in just one line...

Best regards,

Hi Tiago,

To my knowledge, there's nothing that will do this for you out-of-the-box. It would probably be too complex for an action, so your best bet will probably be to find a library that does this, or write it and wrap it in a extension to use within a module.

Tiago,

This is a component that I have used to prettify JSON to show on a screen. I would think you can use this to export it to a file.

Hello. Probably I'll integrate in c# something like it's here:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42343342/can-i-use-json-stringify-in-code-behind-of-an-asp-net-project

Because I need this on server side where I can send a string all in same line and get back all formated to put inside the file.

This is very useful. Thank you.

If you can make this work with the JSON pretty format please let me know how because I tried the same but component is based on client Java script so not clear to me how to use this without showing the JSON on screen.

Solution

I've created an extension for this. Thank you anyway for the efforts. Link to Forge.
