Using application to send Office365 Calendar Event?


I'm creating a Holiday app and was wondering if there was a way to send an event into the Office365 Calendar when a holiday is chosen and confirmed by an admin within the App? I've used Microsoft Login Connector, registered the app in Azure Portal, added permissions...I can get list of events using an API so I can see the Calendar events within my app, but also want to send from my app to Calendar.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated!
