Hello.

I have implemented a stacked BarChart as shown below with companies on the y-axis having a certain number of actions under them each with a priority label. I understand that these bars can be made clickable to get the value of the datapoint that is clicked (the portfolio name in this case).

However, I was wondering if it was possible to make the individual data series clickable? For example if I click on the "High" part of the graph for a certain portfolio, the system understands that I am clicking on High.

Essentially, the end goal is for the user to click on one of the parts of the bar (high, medium, or low) and the graph then shows only those specific actions for that portfolio.

Thank you!

Yes that's possible :-)

Within the Charts API you will find a server action called "DataPoint_GetClicked". It returns the data point that was clicked on the chart.

Hey Jeffrey, thank you for your reply. I accidentally oversaw the "DataSeriesName" output of the DataPoint_GetClicked function. I have managed to implement what I was trying.

But now I was wondering whether there was a way to do this with a hover. Is there a way to perform actions by hovering over the bars of the bar graph?
