I am trying to change the carousel provided on the Outsystems UI Web so that i can do stuff on custom events based on the documentation provided here:

https://github.com/ganlanyuan/tiny-slider

However I am not able to reproduce it with success due to the way the slider is implemented in Outsystems. Did someone manage to do it? A bit of help would be very appreciated :)

Thanks!

Hi gbarbosa, what exactly are you trying to achieve?

If I'm not wrong, the native Carousel component is not based on the tiny-slider lib you pointed out, so I'm not sure you'll get what you want.

If you have any specific requirement to have a Carousel just like tiny-slider, why don't you go ahead and create your own component using that lib?

Indeed, native carousel is not inspired by tiny-slider.

gbarbosa can you point what event based customization you are trying to achieve?

If it is not inspired by the tiny-slider, them I got confused by this description in the advanced parameters:

So what is that reference for? Anyhow, after posting I researched a bit more and I found something similar to what I am trying to achieve:

Good catch! It seems then to have been based somehow on that component. Even so, the basic code seems completely different. I'd need to take a good look at it.

Please share your espace with what you've done, and let's see if we can help you out.

Hi!

The Carousel is indeed based on the library provided in the description.

The reference to the library website is to allow developers to use the full API to provide extra functionality with a JSON parameter that can receive additional options.

In this link you can see the reference to the AdvancedFormat parameter.

Hope this helps!
