How could I clone a Module in my own folder instead of in Independent Modules folder

I have an own folder named "developers Clone" in development environment

Whenever I clone an application module I want it directly created in this folder

instead of the default folder "Independent Modules".

How could I achieve this.

Thanks

Thuan

Hi Thuan,

Unfortunately, I believe that, that is not possible at the moment.

I would suggest you to add an idea, so that R&D can have you request into consideration!

Hello Thuan

Independent Modules is an application rather than a folder ,which primarily use to club all the modules which do not currently belong to any other applications,However you can move the modules from independent module application to desired application using the Move option.

Cheers!

Thanks for your reply of suggestion and clarification. I am looking for how directly cloning to my own desired place instead of the default independent module that should be more convenient.

Hi Thuan,

What is the problem? After you clone the component goto independent modules and move it to the application you want it to be part of. This is just a few clicks work.

Right now, you must move it manually.

You should create new application (or use existing application), open independent modules, then highlight the module, it should show move button. Choose it and select the new application (or existing application)

Not really a problem but seeking for more convenience.

If you have some way to make it directly instead of further steps to complete then it should be more convenient.

Thanks

Then as Rubin already suggested you can add an idea, if enough people vote for it then maybe it gets implemented.
