How do you switch a few images on the background?

I'd like you to tell me about how to put some images(.jpeg or .png) in the background and then switch them every 5 seconds on the screen.

I know a bit about using CSS Style Sheet .

I actually wrote CSS codes and tried everything, but it did not work.

I'd appreciate it if you could give me some tips.

Do you have any good ideas?

Best regards,

Hi,

Why not use the OutSystems UI Carousel widget for this?

https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Developing_an_Application/Design_UI/Patterns/Using_Web_Patterns/Content/Carousel

You have a property too keep it in a loop, autoplay.

Regards,

Daniel

I have checked the link you sent. But I was not able to make it work.  I make it happen to display a few images and fade in and out automatically....

I have the link showing what I want to do below. Like this.

Do you think it is easier to send my.oap file to you?  I assume the best way is to get you to check the module and revise it....

As I said before, I strongly advice you to first follow some online training. That way you will have a better understanding how to use OutSystems and know what options are available in OutSystems to implement the features you want.

You can download the OutSystems live style guide from the forge which has a working example of the widget I proposed to use. Look at it and try again, if it then still does not work let me know, then u will make a small example for you.

Regards,

Daniel

As Daniël Kuhlmann told you to use  Carousel widget, That is the best solution for it. Also, you can able to use your own link as per your needs. for that, you need to learn how to use javascript in Outsystems.

You mean it is possible to display and slide a few images automatically without a designated Web block such as Backgroundimage Web block of my stuff?

You're trying to create it for me,right?  That's so nice of you.

I'd like to send my.oap file to you if you like.

I will give it a try as well!

Does that mean you can implement the function to display some images on the entire screen and automatically fade in and out them without BackgroundWebblock?

I tried Carousel but I did not make it work...   I want to use some .jpeg images but I'm not sure how to do with Carousel..

I wonder it is possible to have some images fade in and out automatically as the video on the link I just sent.

I think it is not enough to read the instruction on Carousel like the below link to understand.

I'd like to hear about it in detail a bit more.....
