How to maintain the app user info in outsystem mobile application

Hi All,

How we can maintain the user information of my mobile application?

Hi Laxmi,

You mean maintain login user details? Or after first login you want to maintain the access for further access to the application?

check this for persistent login

https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/11/Developing_an_Application/Secure_the_Application/End-User_Management/End-Users_Authentication/Persistent_Login

hope this helps

Thanks

My application uses Azure login once the Azure login success how can i maintain the user info in my outsystem application data. Means do we need to create system user everytime when the new user login to my application?

Did you ever figure this out? I get an error from MS:

"We can't sign you in. Your browser is currently set to block cookies. You aren't allow cookies to use service."

If I understand what you want, you have to have a persistent login, and you have to build the synchronism of the information you want to keep on the device side in local tables. In the example, which you have on mobile, you can learn how to do that. Or if you are looking for:

- Mobile timing

- Offline

- Local storage

- persistent login

you'll find what you're looking for.

Hi Laxmi,

You can create some local entity(User_Details) and update that local entity when you have successful Sign IN.

Every time when any user login in your app you need to update that local entity.

I'm not even getting to that point tho. I authenticate via our proxy and then redirect to the landing page of the mobile app using a deep link. All good and works as expected so far. Then once the landing page sees the request it checks back with the Users module who checks with MS [Azure AD] as expected but then tries set a cookie. That's where I get blocked. I need the app container to accept that cookie. I've tried the Safari settings to allow cookies and SQL but nothing seems to work. Is it possibly a setting on the Azure side for secure cookies of something likewise? Or is it a setting on the OS side to allow MS to set the cookie? Thoughts?

Thanks for the help.
