Hi Everyone,

We are suddenly encountering an error on our Web Application upon 1-click publish.

Access to the path 'd:\Outsystems\Platform Server\share\xxxxx\full\Blocks\RichWidgets\RichWidgets' is denied.

We find this issue a disturbing one since it refers to unauthorized access on Richwidgets.

But as we clone the module, we're able to publish without any issues, as well as publishing a solution with the module included.

Hope you could help us on this one.

Thank you in advanced.

Hi,

Not a solution, but someone else had the same problem and found a workaround. Please read

Regards,

Daniel

@Daniel .  you pointed now to the same topic as the OP  has asked the question.

But there's no workaround there?

Ok guys I am sorry, the work around is described in this post.

Should have been made in post https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/52456/compiler-service-error-access-is-denied-to-d-outsytems/

Hi Daniel,

Given that we have a workaround on this matter, we still want to understand on why this suddenly happens, and we're actually hoping to fix this without cloning the module to prevent issues upon deployment to other environment.

Of course, I justed wanted to point out someone else has the same problem and a workaround.

I only did a bad copy/past job and caused confusion, for that I am sorry.

Hi John,

If this is a cloud environment, please contact OutSystems support. If it's an on-premise environment, you should have your system integrator take a look at it. I've seen things like this when there's an over-zealous malware/virus scanner locking the file, for example.
