Can not use a Input_Autocomplete_GetIndentifier()

Can not use a Input_Autocomplete_GetIndentifier()

Hi.

I'm having a problem with the Autocomplete Widget.

When I validate an Edit Record with a Autocomplete widget in it, I always get the folloing error message:

Can not use a Input_Autocomplete_GetIndentifier() action if the text has not changed. Please check if bound input text has changed before using this action.

If anyone knows how to solve it, I apreciate.

Thank's.
Hi Alexandre,

You should only use Input_Autocomplete_GetIndentifier if the user has changed the value of the input. If you are using the input inside an edit record widget you can do that by comparing the value that from the query with what the user typed e.g.
PreparationQuery.List.Current.Entity.Attribute <>InputWidget.TypedValue.
And just use that action in case that has happened.

You can see an example of this in the StyleGuide template, CutomerEdit\Save action.

Hi Tiago.

You are right, that solved my problem.

Thank you very much.

Hi Tiago,

I am using the latest version of the style guide for the 4.2 platform. It is always necessary to make the comparation between the value from the query with what the user typed?

I removed some of that conditions because I think the last version of style guide supports this feature and it stop from work and I have to put it again to work as expected.

Thanks.
