How to generate auto increment decimal no

Hi

how to generate auto increment Decimal no like below

1.2.0

1.2.1

1.2.2

- First: Autoincrement is not possible with decimal, so you need to make a function and increment it yourself.

- Is the 1.2 static or can it change into 1.3 for example? If so, how and when?

Hi :),

You can maintain the first part "1." and built a build a function that fetch the last part of the number and increment 0.1. .

And in the expresssion you will have something like this:

 firstPartNumber + functionincrementNumber().

I Hope It helps,

If thats the case, why not use an integer with autoincrement setting and then use an expression and create your number?
