While a Tilemap is not a valid graph type currently in the Charts API, I was looking to create one using a heatmap/tilemap combo.

I was told that it might be possible importing the following HighChart scripts:
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/highcharts.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/modules/heatmap.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/modules/tilemap.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/modules/exporting.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/modules/export-data.js"></script>
<script src="https://code.highcharts.com/modules/accessibility.js"></script>

I'm not very familiar with how to do that. Could anyone give me a push in the right direction?

I'm trying to implement something very similar to this:

https://jsfiddle.net/gh/get/library/pure/highcharts/highcharts/tree/master/samples/highcharts/demo/honeycomb-usa/

Also, do you know if there are any licensing issues between Outsystems and HighCharts that might preclude me from doing this?

Thank you!
Jeff W.

Hi Jeff,

In the following post there is a link to a video how you can do implement more high charts than what OutSystems standard offers.

https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/45955/customizing-your-charts-using-highcharts-api-html-and-javascript/

There is also a forge component with HowTo's: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/713/charts-howto

In think there are no licensing issues.

Regards,

Daniel
