Hello Team,

We have installed this forge component on Outsystems 10.0(Jave Stack)  for web application. The entry <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=/OSCloud__Entry/">  is added in index.html file of JBoss server.

Does this entry in file impacts on performance of application?

Will all calls now go through this Forge Component or only first entry impacted?

Hi Nilam

I'm glad you found this component and are finding it useful for your setup! answering your questions:

Does this entry in file impacts on performance of application?
- No. What this entry does is that, whenever an access is made to "http[s]://server/", the server answers with a redirect to "http[s]://server/OSCloud__Entry/" and then your browser requests the OSCloud__Entry. From the server perspective, this has zero impact on performance.

Will all calls now go through this Forge Component or only first entry impacted?
- Only the first call from any given user. All calls to "http[s]://server/" will always go through OSCloud__Entry; from then on, when the user navigates the application by clicking other links, the accesses no longer go through OSCloud__Entry. A call to "http[s]://server/Your_eSpace/" never goes to OSCloud__Entry, whatever the value of "server" is.

I hope this makes it clear!

Regards,
Acácio
