Does anyone knows what exact components are responsible for causing the issue below? 


Basically, new application cannot be created since no templates are showing up, or being active.
We have latest SP pack installed and all the OutSystems UI components latest versions from Checklist for OutSystems Platform Server Installation.

Trying to republish each of the eSpace of each application manually through service center now.

Are these the main components providing the base for new apps?

Hm, it is rather strange for me, why you have such behavior, maybe some other outdated references.
You can read about Application Templates here.


The things that's been done so far: 

- Service studio reinstalled multiple times.

- Solution with all modules republished.

- Each of the template application republished and reinstalled later on.

- All of the providers and consumers republished.

- Platform server upgraded following the steps of the Checklist for OutSystems Platform Server Installation.


None of the above mentioned things helped with the issue.

I think may your environment version outdated, can you try to update your version in the website, may be its helps you, suppose if this not works then you need to rise the ticket for the support from Outsystems teams.

Something else you can look into: Does your environment have a valid SSL certificate?

Certificate is valid until the end of 2020.

Regarding the error log it shows the following error message, but only when publishing something. Can TemplateManager be related with this?

Hi Marius,

That "localhost" looks fishy. Make sure in Service Center > Administration > Environment Configuration the hostname is set correctly and Service Center > Administration > Deployment Zones > Global also have the "Deployment Zone Address" correctly set.

Thank you, everyone, for the replies. 

What helped for us:

  1. Removing and reinstalling all the UI frameworks (OutSystemsUI Web, OutSystemsUI)
  2. Removing and reinstalling all the templates (OutSystems UI Templates Mobile, OutSystems UI Templates Reactive, OutSystems UI Web Screen Templates)

We don't know what exactly was corrupted there, but we can create new applications now.
