PlatformLogs Log_Screen duration, what is it really?

Hi everyone,

Here comes another question related to the PlatformLogs tables, now its about the Log_Screen table in the PlatformLogs extension! There is a field called Duration, which is in milliseconds and it says in its description:

Time in seconds web request took

What does this really mean? It is the time spend between the user actually clicking a button (for example)and the screen being re-rendered again with the info requested?? Can someone help with maybe also a practical example?

Greetings,

Guilherme Menescal Dantas.

Solution

Hi Guilherme,

It's the server time of the request, starting when the request arrives to the server, until the response is sent back to the client.

For what you describe, you'll have to check Lifetime Analytics.

Cheers,

Tiago.

Thanks for the answer!

Is it not possible to access the data that is used in LifeTime analytics in any extension table or systems table?

You can check the PerformanceMonitoring_API.

Hi Tiago,

Thank you very much for the follow up answer that really helped!
