How well structured, documented, and legible is the generated code?

The Agile Platform generates open, standard, optimized and documented source code. Regarding the code legibility:

  • Direct mapping between Service Studio and code: There is a direct mapping between the application elements and the generated code, not only regarding names, but also regarding the code structure, hence making your Exit option easier.
  • Fully documented code as defined in Service Studio: The generated code is fully documented with all the descriptions and notes you defined in your applications so that when looking at the code you get context.
  • Graph analysis to avoid “goto”s: The OutSystems Compiler uses advanced graph analysis to avoid “goto”s in the generated code. This way, no matter how complex your applications are, their code is easy to read.
