Entity default actions: conflict in CREATE and computed columns

Entity default actions: conflict in CREATE and computed columns

Hello!

I'm trying to create a record in a table that has a Computed Column (SQL Server 2005).
I'm passing an "Edit Record" object to the CREATE action and the field of the computed column (let's call it COL) is not read or written before.

When executing the action, i get the following Exception Message:
"The column ""COL"" cannot be modified because it is either a computed column or is the result of a UNION operator."

How can I use the CREATE action and do something such as ignoring this column?

Thank you in advance,
Tiago Antunes
Hi Tiago,

If the CREATE action is not working the way you want, try to use an Advanced Query with an "INSERT INTO" statement.
