Internal Error Update of Personal Area in eSpace '' was not effective.

  
Hello,

at the moment I have issues with my espace.
it will publish, but when I run I get this error
"Internal Error Update of Personal Area in eSpace '' was not effective."

and if I test it in the browser I get the error
"There was an error processing your request. Please try again later..."

anyone know what the problem might be?

any help/suggestions really appreciated
Ok,

running it on localhost I saw the proper error.

In the web.config there was an error with the line:

<identity impersonate="true" userName="admin" password="somepwd" />

No I have no clue how it got there in the first place.
and why it gives an error.

1. how do I fix this properly?
2. any way to give better info on the service studio instead of an internal-error

In Service Center, when you click your eSpace and go to the tab Operation do you have the 'Run As' settings enabled? This might be the cause for that setting in web.config. Also, to see the proper error in remote machines you can check the 'Remote Stack Display' checkbox.
