Can anyone know where to write SQL query for fetching data from DB. But I don't want to go for aggregate.

or can I edit the generated sql query by aggregate.

From where we can do this. please send me the screenshot.

Hi Manish,

you can use Advance SQL statement to write your custom SQL query. You can drag and Drop the SQL widget from the left pallet. You can also edit the generated sql from aggregates but that is too difficult to edit.

cheers....

Hi Manish,

Use SQL widget as shown below in Preparation of Screen to write SQL queries.

Double click SQL widget, so you can get SQL editor to write queries.

Solution

Hi Manish,

As others have replied, there's a way to add a SQL query to an OutSystems app. However, you are strongly encouraged to use Aggregates whereever possible! Aggregates are more maintenance friendly, are database agnostic, and align better with the low-code way of OutSystems.
