How to use Bootstrap Framework with Reactive Web Applications?

Hi all,

We have a client who uses Bootstrap Framework for all his enterprise applications and would like to maintain the same visual "look and feel" on an Outsystems Reactive Web Application that is going to be developed.

What would be the best approach in this case?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Paulo,

Well probably not an easy or small task at all but you would have to overwrite all CSS styling from the OutSystems UI with Bootstrap CSS.

There are two Forge components you can have a look at to get some idea of what is possible:

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/3241/bootstrap-4 (v10)

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/708/bootstrap (v9)

Although they are from older OutSystems versions they still load correctly in V11 and have good documentation and samples. By all means these are not components that solve your problem, they are more complete Bootstrap framework implimentations.

Regards,

Daniel
