Hello,

Which training path I should attend if I want to develop an application that works both on web and mobile , with one-time development ?  (similar to Angular, we develop once and application is responsive can be used in any device web or mobile)

Thanks and regards,

Hi Maitha,

You would need to create a reactive web application for that.

Reactive web  is the most recently added application type you can develop with OutSystems.

There are training courses available but not as extensive as the once for Traditional web and Mobile application trainings.

Reactive web is largely build on the same technology as mobile. So after completing the mobile training you know for a large part also how to program a reactive web application.

The free training courses can be found on h https//www.outsystems.com/learn/

Regards,

Daniel

Thanks Daniel for your quick response!

Kindly note that for our version (Service Studio 11.0.537) we don't have Reactive Web, what is the alternative to it? and can i use it for one-time development for web and mobile ?

And if there is no alternative for Reactive Web in our Outsystems version (Service Studio 11.0.537), does it mean I have to develop two versions, one for Web and one for Mobile?

Appreciate your help.

Hi,

For reactive web ou have to update the platform to at least release Oct. 2919.

For service studio you could best install the latest version. As OutSystems is making regular updates to it regarding the reactive app.

You have to update some forge components related to OutSystems UI also.

Read the FAQ section of https://outsystemsui.outsystems.com/OutSystemsUIWebsite/WhatsNew

For instructions.
