Configuration Tool Error in Windows Vista

Configuration Tool Error in Windows Vista

Hello,

I'm having an error launching Configuration Tool (version 5.0.1.0) in Windows Vista (running with an administrator user): "Configuration Tool can only be run by an administrator".

Is this a known bug ? How can this be solved ?

Thanks in advance.

Ana

Hi Ana

The problem you are having is not a known bug - the Configuration Tool needs to be run with Administrative privileges. In Windows Vista, that means running with a user that is a machine administrator and explicitly granting such privileges, by right-clicking and choosing Run as Administrator. You are then prompted to allow execution (the annoying Windows popup) and there you go.

Please let me know if it worked.

Cheers,

Thanks Acácio, that´s it.
