My env DB is full - currently limited at 2gb. How do I got about cleaning it up? When I follow the recommended steps I get this:

How can I untag old versions so as I can delete them? I've looked at DBCleanerOnSteroids - I'm hesistant to run any actions in it as I don't actually know what it will do (and don't wnat to corrupt my env). Just looking at it though, the table "ossys_Espace_Version" is running at 1.7GB - so that's a prime contender...

Thoughts?

Both in DBCleaner and in the application you mention, you can choose even when you want to delete. Imagine that you choose two weeks, everything that is two weeks before today's date is deleted. And it will erase all old versions.

Cheers

Hi Steve,

You can used DBCleaner forge component

 https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component/423/dbcleaner/.

If you check your e-spaces they have a lot of versions correct? the information of those versions is saved on db and need to be clean now and then.

I hope it will help you!

Thanks

Thanks. I've deleted a host of old versions last night, but I've still not freed up a lot of space. See below:

How do I shrink or reduce the size of the ossys_Espace_Version table?

Hi,

You can use below command.

alter table OSSYS_ESPACE_VERSION Enable row movement;

alter table OSSYS_ESPACE_VERSION MODIFY lob (OML_FILE) (shrink space);

alter table OSSYS_ESPACE_VERSION Disable row movement;

ALTER INDEX PK_OSSYS_ESPACE_VERSION REBUILD;

Thanks,

Salman

I Agree with Salman, this is the best manual solution to remove the old DB from the environment.

Thankx,

Where do I actually run these commands though? (V new to Outsystems....)

You can run above in database end

Ah - I don't think I have access to that yet as not on enterprise licence.... Unless I've missed something?

You can able to use it in the SQL Editor in Out-systems. I hope, i am correct.

Thank you,

Sudip

You can try using SQL editor but I per my understanding it requires some privilege to run this script.

Thanks,
