Hi guys,

I am new to Outsystems platform and still exploring it. My problem is the data that I need which is the date was considered as Attribute Structure by Outsystem. What I wanted is to get that dates and put it on a line chart and plot the "Total Cases" on the top of the date. I hope you can help me give an example of what I want to achieve.

Here is my API link: https://thevirustracker.com/free-api?countryTimeline=PH

PS. I am using Reactive Web App

Thank you.

Robert

Hi,

The dates do not have a name in the JSON. That is why OutSystems generated the structure like that. The date should be between the { and } like the other attributes and have a name like 'date'.

Daniel

Is there a way how I can get and store this in a list?

The JSON that you consume has a structure that OutSystems can not consume by default.

I don't know what you can do in OutSystems to make this work.

To be honest it is, although valid, a crappy JSON structure.

The date should be "Date": <datevalue>

Where <datevalue> is formatted as: "yyyy-mm-dd"

{
"date": "2020-01-23",
"new_daily_cases": 0,
"new_daily_deaths": 0,
"total_cases": 0,
"total_recoveries": 0,
"total_deaths": 0
},

Okay, so the answer is "NO".

Thank you for the response :)

Hi Robert,

The answer is, that I don't know. OutSystems cannot consume this by default. Maybe there is away, but I don't know.
