Hi guys!

Me and my friends are developing a mobile app using OutSystems for an university subject and we need to accept payments inside the app.

We thought of Paypal. I even found a plugin for Paypal Mobile but when I installed the Sample App that it's creator also made, I wasn't able to log into my account and neither did any of my friends. I'm assuming it is bugged.

As we don't have that much experience with OutSystems, I've decided to come here looking for help on this matter. Does anyone know how I can go about integrating Paypal Checkout inside my app?

Thanks in advance,

Rui.

Hi,

Did you try with below Forge components:

Mobile :

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/1981/paypal-mobile

Web Connector :

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/572/paypal-connector

Btw do mention which plugins you have used & what was the issue you faced?

This is exactly the plugin I tried to use:
https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/1981/paypal-mobile

It has it's own sample app by the same author also on the forge:
https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/6980/paypal-mobile-sample-app

The thing is, I tried to use it and make a sample payment but it says invalid email or password every time I try to log in. I've tried countless times and double checked both the email and password and nothing helped.

So, I came here to the forums seeking for help and guidance on how I can implement Paypal Checkout inside my mobile app without using this plugin as it seems to be bugged.

Hi Rui,

If you want you can create your own plugin. You can create your own Cordovo plugin and integrate in your applications.

I would.

Thing is I am fairly new to OutSystems and don't have much experience with it.

Also, it feels like for OutSystems I can't find as many contents on google/youtube as for other technologies.

So, I'm kinda stuck here :(

UPDATE: Nevermind. A friend of mine just logged in. I was doing something wrong. There was still an error but my friend will make a post regarding that issue. Thanks anyways for your replies tho :)
