Hi

I want to open the inappbrowser with header and footer of app intact in the screen i.e. sometype of a container thing in which I can open inAppBrowser.

Can it be done?

I'm not sure if there is a way of maintaining header and footer intact using this plugin, but maybe you would like to see how this can be done using cordova plugin

https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/latest/reference/cordova-plugin-inappbrowser/

http://docs.phonegap.com/en/edge/cordova_inappbrowser_inappbrowser.md.html

and an interesting discussion at

Hi Shubham,

Maintaining application header and footer using inappbrowser is not possible (AFAIK).

You can either use iframe in one of your screen and load your external url in this iframe. But I don't think ths is the best way to do that.

You can try this forge component for safari view and chrome tab implementation. Using safari view for iOS and chrome custom tab in android for loading exterrnal URL is the stendard practice so I think you can try this and use if it suits your need.
