Hi All,

I'm trying to force the page to have constant width i.e. if one lowers the screen width then the width of the root-container doesn't change and a horizontal scrollbar (overflow) appears.

I have so far failed to implement this behavior with a forced min-width. where all child-widgets have relative widths.

Hello Olivier.

CSS is not my area, but seeing that no one was picking your question, here goes my suggestion:

You make a big container with overflow-x:auto;

Inside you place elements with min-width: 900px;

It will work only for elements with width set, the others inside the container will keep their flexibility.
