Hi Nitin,

Did you take a look at following article about Caching https://success.outsystems.com/Documentation/Best_Practices/Performance/Improving_Performance_With_Distributed_Caching?

Basically it guides you to use the dmCache component to achieve the distributed caching mechanism through AWS ElasticCache, Memcached, Redis and Couchbase.

Hi Akshay,

dmCache component is showing deprecated on Forge.

Thanks!

Hi Nitin,

Indeed dmCache is a deprecated component (although available for O11 version).

Apart from the link provided already Improving Performance With Distributed Caching, do checkout  How to Integrate NoSQL Into an OutSystems Application for generic NoSQL integration.

I had just released the RedisCacheSentinel  in forge. It's simpler than dmCache and it supports all different applications. https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/9867/rediscachesentinel

It supports Redis Sentinel, which is simpler to setup and use.
