I am helping a colleague that has an API written in C# and the API works fine.  The API exposes a REST method to upload file using Binary64.

This API must be consumed from inside OutSystems application.

Is there any detail that I must take care when I encode hte file to send?  My colleague describes some difficulties and a reason that I still don´t know OutSystems does not understands the parameter to upload the file.

Hi Daniel,

There is no such thing as Binary64. There's Base64, which is an encoding for binary data. If you use the Binary Data type in a REST service, it will be automatically converted to Base64. So there's no need for any special encoding.

My bad.  You are right, Base64.

Ok, thanks a lot. :)

Let me know if it works out.
